A rich and full-bodied single origin cacao known for its deep facilitation in meditative and shamanic journeying, trauma release, breath work practises and bodywork therapies.
500g will yield around 6 - 11 serves, depending on the size of your desired serve.
The cacao we ship to you is coarsely hand cut and could warm slightly on its journey across Australia, this can present as a discolouration called 'bloom'.
When the cacao warms, the butter within the cacao softens and separates from the other solids. Once it rises to the surface and re-solidifies is when the bloom can be seen.
This is perfectly safe and will come together beautifully with hot water.
As mentioned, the cacao you receive is hand cut to order. If you prefer a finer finish, it is recommended to pass under a sharp knife until satisfied.
We recommend you store your precious cacao in an airtight glass container, ceramic container or zip lock bag in a cool & dry place avoiding direct heat, sunlight and contact with metals where possible.
In more tropical climates, you might like to store your cacao in the refrigerator.

Our single origin cacao & butter are derived from premium Criollo cacao beans grown in the Tarapoto region of Peru.
The Amazonian area of Peru is well known as the natural environment of the Theobroma Cacao Tree, and is where the Mayan, Inca and Quechua civilizations of long ago consumed cacao and used it as sacred offerings to our Mother Earth & the elements in time honoured traditions that are still alive today.
Our farmers and growers are UTZ certified. Through this they are guaranteed better working conditions and receive expert guidance in sustainable farming practices & how to care for nature and the environment.
